Black Gothic Umbrella with Spider’s Web Style Canopy

Welcome to the Wednesday Umbrella, similar to the black gothic umbrella used by the character Wednesday Addams, played by Jenna Ortega in the recently acclaimed Tim Burton-directed Netflix TV series. This spider’s web-shaped umbrella canopy certainly stands out in the crowd! With its distinctive, striking shape, this is an exclusive gothic-style umbrella, designed by Umbrella Heaven’s Chief “Umbrollogist”, Rob McAlister. It now forms part of our unique gothic umbrella range.

The Wednesday Umbrella can of course also be used on any other day of the week. We created it in response to the feedback received from our many loyal customers. Its many stylish features include:

Wednesday Umbrella – Classic Design Inspiration

This is a little smaller than some of our other gothic umbrellas and has just a single all-black canopy. Elegant, lightweight, and very strong, it incorporates a windproof black nylon/fibreglass frame. If you look back at some of the old black-and-white movies, you’ll notice that many umbrellas were closer to this shape, though perhaps not quite so pronounced! Many umbrellas from the 1930s to the 1950s were cut in this style.

The black gothic-style Wednesday Umbrella can therefore claim a somewhat classical design inheritance as well as being inspired by the shape of the edges of a spider’s web. This could also make for the perfect umbrella on the next rainy Halloween, perhaps! Use on both rainy and sunny days. Great for events such as weddings – also funerals!
