These top of the range ladies’ and gentlemen’s umbrellas are lightweight with a strong aluminium shaft. The fibreglass ribs & stretchers make this blue shoulder strap umbrella windproof too. The ten-panel canopy means there are 10 strong, light & flexible spokes (or ribs), making it 20% stronger than the more conventional 8 panelled design.
About 77 cm from tip to toe and a canopy span of 92 cm, this popular hands-free, blue shoulder strap umbrella has its strap, canopy and ergonomically designed, rubber handle, all colour matched. Also, as the handle is straight, it’s more comfortable to carry on your back or in a rucksack and less likely to get caught.
They also have a strong aluminium tip and matching handle-protector. A great practical gift for both ladies and gents.

Not all umbrellas are made equal.
This model is constructed with aluminium shaft and nylon, very light yet very sturdy, much more robust than other branded offerings. Simple manual opening and closure means no mechanical breakage issues and the strap can be removed if so desired.
Unbeknown to most people, the Dutch are synonymous with strap umbrellas, probably due to wearing them on the back while riding bicycles, yes, this Brand is from the Netherlands. The same wholesaler who supplied Rabobank with the orange, white and blue panelled small golf umbrellas, no doubt they’ve also supplied many other companies with logo-branded umbrellas.
Delivery packaging was in a long triangular box which made it awkward to carry, tubular box would be more practical but that’s just me nitpicking.
I’m most pleased with this item, it’s well worth the purchase price.

It’s impossible to rate these brollies highly enough – there should be a 10* rating for them! They are totally windproof – my second purchase due to recently losing the first!! Thoroughly recommended for the current gale-force winds in the UK.
