The ‘Witch’™ and ‘Kiss’™ range of windproof umbrellas, with ‘Double-Dome’™ wind resistance technology were conceived, designed and created to add another dimension to the umbrella market. We looked at the existing market and established that something new was needed. Our market research indicated that the trend is changing from an umbrella being perceived as a one-off practical necessity. Consumers are increasingly seeing umbrellas and parasols as stylish fashion accessories and companies are aware they’re a very economical form of advertising. The right umbrella can create an image, turn heads and get you noticed – not to mention complementing that expensive new outfit.
With UV protection, many of our umbrellas can be used as both an umbrella or parasol – protection come rain or shine! We saw the need for something new, something to get you noticed, something with that ‘Wow’ factor. Finally, we looked at the existing technology. The main problem with conventional umbrella designs is that one gust of wind and the umbrella is blown inside out, the spokes break and the umbrella is ruined.
